While rocking out with Knox I found this hidden gem picked up by my hubby @ktjohnson_wk in our vinyl collection, In case you guys didn’t know Eddie Palmieri is known as one of the finest Latin jazz pianists of the past 50 years, he’s also known as a bandleader of both salsa and Latin jazz orchestras.

His playing skillfully fuses the rhythm of Puerto Rico with the melody and complexity of his jazz influences: Thelonious Monk and NEA Jazz Masters Herbie Hancock and McCoy Tyner. Gah. Last summer Eddie won the NEA Jazz Masters award himself. Only given to living legends I look forward to playing this for Knox everyday! WEPA Que Viva Puerto Rico!!!!

I have to tip my hat to Knox. This kid is pretty resilient! He’s a chewer and gagged on his own fingers and rattle before this was taken tonight. He baby barfed up his dinner and didn’t cry one bit after it happened. It got all over me and he’s the one who’s squeaky clean now….💬
